We are holding up in Sarasota, our home town, for the winter. Sunny sunshine and the warm weather down, down in the Florida. Our friend Lee bought a house with the perfect side yard, Bernard fits perfectly. The location is amazing, we can get everywhere on our bikes.
We plan to head out west in the spring. Untill then we have lots of work to do. Several modifacations to Bernard, including but not limited to: An electrical system with solar panels, storage boxes on the deck and undercarraige, a center console, extending the deck, and a large RV style roll out awning. We are also turning Bernard into an idea and information hub in the form of a booth that we can set up at festivals or fairs or markets. We will distribute and spread idea's and information on topics ranging from sustainable building and alternative energy to health and nutrition to anything else we come into contact with. We are forming a non-profit for the bus, collecting literature, and all and all getting things together. We have a lot to learn, a lot to organize, and a lot to build.
