cruisin' smelly-style

well, the tour is going great so far. Skiffle and Tiny Ensemble were recorded for haveyouheard.net in an amazing in-house studio by atlanta's coolest sound engineer, we found a ton of veggie oil in GA and SC, and we've had just about the perfect amount of leisure time so far. right now we're parked in front of the Dripolator in my favorite little North Cackalackey town, Black Mountain. if you're here in town and see this, feel free to knock on the Bernard's door and say hello, and be sure to come by the open mic tonight at the Watershed, right by the bus, where you'll have a chance to see one or more of: HARPER Sublette, SKIFFLE, jesuschryslersupercar, CATS in the BasementMAID Mosephine, and Tiny Ensemble! it's gonna be the F'n S!! WOO!

We met another Veggie Bus!

Keezy Bus from Oregon front
Keezy Bus from Oregon from the Back
Bob and Keezy Crew!
We met a couple from oregon traveling around in their veggie bus. Our friend brandy saw them at whole foods and brought them back to us. We exchanged stories and tip and tricks and technicalities and formalities. They have a sweet bus and we hope to see them around sometime. They were on there way out of florida but you can check them out on myspace

Working it out, yeah, we are getting things going.

Although slowly. I am finding sarasota comfortable this time around and this time of year. I am selling my photographs at the Artists Market downtown. I am eating great local produce from Jessica's Farm. I am riding bike as my main form of transportation. I have been practicing yoga at rosemary court with Beth and friends. I have been reading books of all sorts, and I have started recording some music at my friend nino's in home studio. I am in no hurry to leave. Work and money have been slow and it has changed my thinking somewhat. My good friends Jesse and Nino are having a baby in june and we have decided to stay for this magnificent occasion. We have also decided to sell two shares of Bernard making him owned and inhabited by four people. We are accepting application at roth@thelur.org from all interested parties. Shares will be sold for $3,000. I cut off my dreadlocks and I am much faster now :). So, the plan is still coming together but at a much slower rate than I had originally thought. I have been doing lots of research into alternative energies and the companies and organizations involved. I still need to make connections and put together information to distribute. We still have a lot of projects planned for Bernard. All said and done I feel very fortunate, my life is awesome.
